I have been working in financial services for over 2 decades now and am passionate about helping clients navigate their financial journey.
We formed the company based on great personalised service and attention to detail and I love seeing the positive impact we have on people’s lives in helping them to achieve their financial goals.
Some of the most rewarding moments have been seeing clients from when they bought their first home, starting a family, and then going on to help their children to do the same.
I have now broadened my advice areas, with focus on financial planning and equity release through our sister firm, Orestone Wealth management.
Outside of work I am a keen car enthusiast and also enjoy mountain biking and snowboarding, not that I am particularly good at either, but enjoy them just the same!
My greatest passion is my family. My wife and fellow director Lisa, have 2 boys Ethan & Blake, who keep us on our toes.
I came on board as a Director / co-owner with Howard Mortgages in 2015 to aid in the expansion of the business. After seeing some phenomenal growth with the opening of two new offices and the expansion of the team we took the decision to setup our sister company to enable us to offer a full-service advice proposition.
I now head up our sister company as MD and advise within the firm on all aspects relating to pensions, investments, estate planning and later life care.
I live in Torbay with my family and when I am not enjoying being a dad, I enjoy very much living an outdoor lifestyle.

I’m the Operations Director at Howard Mortgages and I am involved in the day to day running of the office. I have a HND in Business Administration and previously have worked for a variety of companies from Construction, Telecommunications and now Financial Services.
My spare time mainly involves running around after our 2 boys and eating leftover food along with the occasional run! I enjoy action / marvel films and I am currently working my way through testing out different Gin & Tonic’s.
With over a decade of experience in administration, I’ve built a strong foundation across a variety of roles, from client-facing positions to secretarial work and accounts.
I have always been drawn to the property industry, and working in mortgages has given me the perfect opportunity to combine my organisational and administrative skills with my enthusiasm for helping clients achieve their goals. I take great pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
I’m currently studying towards my CeMAP qualification, which perfectly complements my role as a Mortgage and Protection Administrator and deepens my understanding of the mortgage process.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner and cocker spaniel, exploring the beautiful Devon countryside. I also have a passion for travel and discovering new cultures—Japan being my favourite destination that I have been to.

I started my career in financial services at virgin money in 2015 as a banking associate. I was also promoted to nominated deputy manager and learnt invaluable skills dealing with customers.
In my spare time I enjoy kayaking when the weather is good. I have also completed the London marathon in April 2018 my first and last marathon. I am looking forward to building a successful career at Howard Mortgages.
I have been working in the financial industry for over 20 years and enjoy the challenge my clients give me. Its an exciting role as every day is different. I enjoy meeting new clients and getting to know their stories and thinking about ways I can help them. I pride myself on giving an outstanding service and find that – in return – my clients recommend me to others.
I have two sons who both enjoy football and my eldest is a Semi professional footballer. I enjoy sailing, skiing, outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.

I have worked in the financial and property industry since 2007, working for two high street banks and also in estate agency, which has given me an invaluable detailed knowledge of the house buying process and the hurdles often presented. I began mortgage advising in 2013, which is my true passion, as I love helping clients realise their dreams and goals. Every day is different, with no one client being the same as the next, which provides a great challenge.
In my spare time I like to get out into the countryside with my border collie and enjoy the wonderful nature we have around us. I am a massive formula one fan which takes up many of my weekends as well as the MotoGP.
Previous to Financial Services, my 20+ year career has been working in compliance for the private & public sector. I decided to take a break from this line of work to be able to work more closely with customers and apply my wide range of skills in a new and fast paced industry. I’m a customer focused person, with an eye for detail and I have a passion for spreadsheets!
Work aside, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends, I enjoy walking on the Southwest Coast Path and Dartmoor. I also enjoy watching rugby, particularly the Exeter Chiefs and England. At home we have an adorable Maine Coon cat called Bonnie, she rules our household but gives the best cuddles!

I began my career in financial services in 2006, where I enjoyed helping clients as a Personal Banker. It was while doing this, I realised my true passion was all things mortgages! Prior to starting at Howard Mortgages, I was advising in a busy estate agency which I feel has given me first-hand experience of the entire house buying process, enabling me to give the best service possible to all of my clients.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends. I especially love family time. We enjoy everything from going for dog walks in new places, lazy summer days at our beach hut or getting out on the paddle boards, to activities such as Go Ape and Aqua parks etc….this can sometimes get a little competitive!

Since joining the financial services industry in the early 1980s, I have seen many changes across the profession. Those changes ultimately led to my recent decision to join Howard Mortgages.
A few years ago, I decided to specialise in property finance, with a particular focus on equity release and protection. This meant moving away from pensions and investments, as I have always felt those areas are best handled by dedicated specialists.
My wider background in financial services has given me a broad perspective on the property market, particularly through my growing involvement in equity release. I am also proud to be a member of the Equity Release Council, which reflects my commitment to high standards and good client outcomes in later-life lending. Being of the 1955 vintage probably helps too, as it means I can relate well to the needs and concerns of clients considering this area of advice.
Outside of work, family is at the heart of everything I do. My wife and I have three daughters, three grandchildren and two sons-in-law, who all help keep us busy. When I am not working, I enjoy live music, socialising, football, fishing and playing cricket for Marychurch Old Boys. More recently, I have also developed a passion for vintage motorcycles, which has become something of a family interest.
Somehow, I still manage to find time for work!
